Richard Masuskapoe is a self taught emerging native artist. He has worked with pencil since he was 10 years old. He discovered pigma ink as a teenager and hasn't stopped since.

Richard's paintings reflect his insights into his native culture. He combines his work with the outside world along with the traditional culture of his reserve. Many of his pieces are stories within stories and images within images.

Richard works on acid free smooth paper depicting inspirations that come as he sits and listens to the music of native drummers.
