First Nations artists exist in every corner of the country. From coast to coast, in the mountains and on the prairies, you’ll find some of the best artists in the world creating stunning masterpieces.
There are so many talented, accomplished artists it would be impossible to introduce you to all of them. But we’re doing our best!
Established and Emerging First Nations Artists

Some First Nations artists, such as
Arnold Isbister, are exemplary painters with broad appeal in First Nations communities, Canada and the world. Artists like these two have been working for decades; their work is admired and collected by many.
Richard Masuskapoe, has been drawing and painting since the age of 10, and his talent is becoming well known to the world at large.
Cal Arcand is from the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. He is a true Ambassador for the arts. The images he paints come from the many experiences and opportunities he has had in learning about his First Nations heritage.
