Aboriginal Art Study
If you are of First Nations descent—status, non-status, Metis or Inuit—and wish to advance your knowledge and skills as an artist, you may be interested in The Banff Centre’s Aboriginal Studio Work Study program.
The program caters to artists interested in the following:
- Printmaking
- Papermaking
- Ceramics
- Photography
- Sculpture
During the program, you’ll have the opportunity to attend aboriginal art demonstrations, view presentations and interact with professional artists. Workshops and hands-on experience will help you further develop your talents.
Your application must include your resume, references and a statement of your learning objectives. Your prior training, level of experience, interest level and potential will all be used to evaluate your application, so be sure to include your portfolio.
