More About Lucille Scott

Lucille Scott has explored the spectrums of drawing and painting for as long as she can remember.

A self-taught artist, her natural abilities and commitment to her craft have allowed her distinctive talents to blossom and grow.

In 2002, Lucille began experimenting with painting on rocks, leaves and feathers and her passion for the intricate art of feather painting took flight.

She presently produces stunningly detailed works of art on varied delicate plumes. The feathers are initially primed with gesso for a firm working base and the striking images created with vivid acrylic paints.

Originally born into the Big River community, Lucille presently resides in Debden, Saskatchewan where she works for the Prince Albert Health Region as a home-care aide and continuing care assistant in Big River long-term facility.

Despite her busy schedule, Lucille is making time to relax and enjoy life and to pursue and perfect her unique and specialized art.
